Since the 1950's!
What is your primary product or service?
Quality used auto parts including engines, transmissions, wheels, tires, batteries, body panels, seats, and electrical & mechanical components. We also sell remanufactured engines and transmissions and a variety of new auto parts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
A passion for used auto parts runs in the family! Pete opened the business in the 50's, his son Ron bought it in the 80's. Ron's daughter Amber graduated from Alma College worked in the family business for over 6 years. She left with her family's blessing to run American Auto Parts in Omaha, Nebraska, for two years, and then ran the Loveland, Colorado branch of H&H Auto Parts before starting her own consulting business. Amber has helped auto recyclers all over the US and Canada, she speaks at state, national, and international conventions and her articles have been published in many industry magazines. After years of travel and establishing herself in the industry, Amber and her husband bought a home in Holland and purchased Pete's January 1st, 2016.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our "behind the scenes" staff is just as professional as our knowledgeable salespeople. We take pride in hiring and developing talent and we have the very best dismantlers, parts pullers, shippers, and more. When you purchase from Pete's, you are supporting the families of all of these hardworking people, and your parts come with the very best guarantee.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one main location and one supporting location with offices and warehouses. Pete's is always growing but we're trying to keep our operations right where they started, in Jenison.

Pete's Auto Parts is located on Port Sheldon Road, in between Balsam and Chicago Drive, on the South side of the road. Look for our big blue building!

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Amber Kendrick is the 3rd generation owner of Pete's Auto Parts. She serves as the sales manager and is Pete's granddaughter. Jessi Van Spronsen is the General Manager and oversees operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"Good as new!" when it comes to our guaranteed used parts. That our staff is professional, when it comes to our service.
