How long have you been in business?
Catered Creations, Inc. has been in business for 28 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full service off premise catering company focused solely on providing great food, exceptional service and affordable options for all your catering needs. We are not a restaurant who caters on the side. Our business and expertise IS catering! Hire a company whose only focus is off premise catering. Hire professionals who have the experience, equipment and trained staff to handle the challenges that arise from bringing the party to you. Hire a caterer!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Catered Creations, Inc. was founded by Gary Zylstra in April 1986. Gary spent 8 years working as the food service director for Bestrom Vending & Catering Co. back in the late seventies - early eighties. When Bestrom's decided to take their company in a new direction, Gary bought the catering division and struck out on his own. For the past 28 years Gary has done exactly what he loves; catering mouth watering feasts for Grand Rapids & West Michigan events!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
With a family owned and operated business such as ours, you get an owner every time you call, every time you get a delivery, every time you plan an event, every event you plan. Our family is dedicated to making your event a success from start to finish.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks, cash, Master Card, Visa, AMEX and Discover cards.
Which areas do you service?
We service all of West Michigan from the Indiana border as far north as Traverse City.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Owners Gary & Patti Zylstra have 3 of their 5 grown children, Nate, Samantha & Rachael working full time with them.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. We cater 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
